Welcome to my site!
Once upon a time, I ran a daily photo blog based off of the city I live in. This was where I would go out with my trusty DSLR and take photo’s around town. I made a commitment to posting one photo per day. In the end what I found is that I would post photo’s that I normally wouldn’t post just to meet that daily quota. Eventually, I lost focus on the blog and let it disappear into the ethers. From time to time I do miss blogging about things, so I decided to start up again.
I’ve been married for a long time, going on 29 years this morning. My children are Micheal 25, Ashley 16 and Marc who is 8. Got a few furbabies as well, Sheena is our Siamese cat who is 18 years old. Then we have Charlie who is a dudley lab that we rescued, probably about 3 years old now. We can’t forget Shadow who is a black lab/chow mix that we rescued a few years ago. She is probably 7 years old or so.
I’m an engineer working at a small startup in Boston. Been in the tech field since 1994. One day after working long hours in a factory I decided it was time to make a change. Told my wife that I wished to get into the tech field and wanted to quit my job, take my profit sharing and go to school full time. She didn’t blink an eye and told me to go for it, even though we just bought a house. It was a scary 6 months or so but things turned out well.
Pictured above is my youngest sitting in my other baby. I had a Harley Davidson motorcycle that I loved. Once I started working in Boston though I found it sat in the garage most the time. Not enjoyable driving to Boston sitting in bumper to bumper traffic with an 110cc engine sitting between your legs. I’d get to work and would need a shower. So I decided to trade it in the next best thing. I bought a 4 door Jeep Wrangler. I can take the top and doors off and get as close as can be to the open feel of running a motorcycle. Like a Harley, a Jeep is highly customizable. I’ve haven’t done too much yet, only replaced the tail lights with a LED setup. My wish list is large though with LED headlights, a soft top, 35″ tires, 1.5 to 2.5 inch liftkit. All a matter of time and money before these things happen.
Anyways, that’s all I have for now. Come back and visit some time.
